Nathan Storey is an artist from North Carolina. He writes honest, emotional songs about the highs and lows of life. Storey has toured regularly for years. He has released 3 solo records, multiple eps and singles, and is a regular co-writer. His Shades EP released in January of 2024. Acoustic versions of songs from Shades were released later that year and became his most streamed work. The hinterland EP released in 2026, proceeded by the title track and 2 other well-received singles.

Storey has played up and down the US east coast at notable venues including Rockwood Music Hall in NYC, the National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, DC, the River Arts Festival in Jacksonville, FL, and The Evening Muse and the legendary Double Door Inn in Charlotte, NC (RIP).

In 2024 he was a finalist for the NewSong Music singer/songwriter competition and performed at the Leaf Global Arts retreat in Asheville, NC. In 2025 he was a finalist for the Singers and Songbirds Songwriter Festival songwriting competition in Statesville, NC. He is also a Charlotte So Far artist and played their inaugural show in 2025 which sold out 3 times over.

Notable festival appearances include 2025’s Launch Music Con in Dallas, TX, and the Electric City Music Con in Scranton, PA and Fall for Greenville in SC in 2026. That year he was also selected as an official busker for the 2026 NC Folk Festival in Greensboro, NC.
